I am a big(100lbs,) cuddly pooch, but not always the best with children and shouldn’t live in a home with someone under the age of 12. I was first rescued in 2020 and thought I had found my forever home, but the family had children under the age of 10 and I wanted to protect them too much and went after their friends if they came in unexpectedly. Although, I went through a lot of training, it was never enough for this family.
I am generally a very happy dog and love people, but may try to jump up on you to show you love. I do need a fenced in back yard and a family that has a strong leader. I need a strong human, so that I don’t feel as if I need to protect them. I do want to protect my family, but need to find my role in doing that with your help. I love being out free in the house with my family, but have no problem staying in a crate when needed. I do have some anxiety and am taking meds for this. The meds work great for me.
