Goldie was rescued on May 31st the same day she was scheduled to be euthanized. She was believed to be pregnant, but it turned out that her puppies had just been weaned from her and she was going into heat again. Unfortunately, she had a raging infection and needed to have emergency surgery to be spayed. She is recovering well and is ready to get out and play again, but needs a week or two of rehab. The pictures we have here are while she is wearing her “cone-of-shame!” Actually, there is no shame in this. She can no longer be used as a baby producer, her vet said she had been bred several times. She is a wonderful dog with a very happy demeaner and would make a great pet for a family with children.
